Yas Island

Yas Island, with a total size of 2,500 hectares and approximately 32 kilometres of beach overlooking the sea, is a world-class leisure destination and one of Abu Dhabi's largest natural islands, built at a cost of $40 billion. The project was built on almost 1,700 hectares of the island in two parts.

New infrastructure has been built throughout the island, including a ten-lane expressway connecting the island to the new Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Abu Dhabi-Dubai Expressway, and Abu Dhabi City. With over 300,000 square metres of retail space, shopping is a major attraction. Yas Island also contains a Ferrari-style garden, a Formula 1 race track, a museum, and a theatre, as well as golden beaches, marinas, entertainment, premium hotels, residences, and leisure facilities such as golf and motor racing.
